Derek Low

Founder / Lead Trainer

Derek is the founder and Lead Trainer at M4TREC with a passion for extreme 4WD off-road adventures. When he isn’t tackling slippery slopes, navigating nasty gullies or winching himself out of axle-deep mud tracks on the weekends, he will be tinkering his truck for his next jungle adventure. He brings with him extensive experience driving off-road over challenging terrains and it's no surprise that he is also the curator of our off-road obstacle course.

Corporate Instructor – LANTRA, UK

Certified 4x4 Instructor - Land Rover Experience East of England, UK

Certified & Accredited Trainer - HRD Corp, Malaysia

Certified Basic First Aid - Blue Sky Rescue, Malaysia

Over 25 years of off-road driving experience

Welcome to Malaysia’s first purpose-built, privately owned 4WD training and proving ground.

Just 30 minutes from Kuala Lumpur City Centre, our six-acre facility in Semenyih, Selangor offers a professional yet tranquil training environment. The centre features a spacious reception area, air-conditioned classrooms, an on-site restaurant, and a world-class 4WD obstacle course with varied terrain—designed to accommodate drivers of all experience and skill levels.
